House Fire in Clear Lake Area

Firefighters arrived on scene with heavy fire coming from several sides of a 1-story home. Everyone had safely escaped from the house and crews began an offensive attack. Firefighters worked to protect nearby structures and ventilated the roof. A primary search was completed and the fire went to defensive mode. The fire was extinguished and crews conducted salvage and overhaul. The owner reported that they thought a dog had knocked over a lit Tiki torch on the patio. Crews from Stations 70, 71, 93, 94 and 52 responded to this incident.
