Unintentional – items accidently caught fire in the oven

The crew of Engine 69 arrived on scene to find smoke coming from a house. They quickly tapped out a kitchen fire and conducted a primary search. The crew of Ladder 69 removed a cage with a parrot and assisted with overhaul, ventilating the smoke from the home. The home owner was advised that it was not safe to turn the power back on until an electrician checked the breakers and isolated the electrical breaker to the kitchen.
