House Fire in Briar Forest Area of Houston

Firefighters prevented spread of the fire to nearby homes.

The cause was ruled as accidental by HFD Arson investigators.
|
|
Firefighters arrived on scene to find a 1 ½ story house with fire coming from an upper window. They began their attack on the fire and made entry into the home. A primary search was completed and crews began to protect the nearby homes from fire.
The resident stated that she heard a noise and discovered smoke. She evacuated all family members safely from the house and called 9-1-1. Firefighters from Stations 69, 83,60, 75, 78 and 57 responded to this incident.
