HOUSTON - The Houston Fire Department will take part in a procession for Firefighter Kenneth Stavinoha today at 2pm. Stavinoha will be moved from the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office to Klein Memorial Park at 1400 W. Main Tomball, TX. The Houston Police Department will provide an escort for the following route:
• Old Spanish Trail > 288
• 288> I-45 North
• I-45 North to Sam Houston Tollway (Beltway 8)
• Beltway 8>FM 249 North
• FM 249 North>FM2920 (W. Main)
• 1400 W. Main
We will also have HFD apparatus along the route in the city and neighboring departments will stage along the route outside the city. A Wall of Honor will be formed at the Medical Examiner’s Office with the HFD Honor Guard.
Stavinoha worked at Fire Station 27 on the A shift and passed away Saturday on duty at the station. He has been a member of HFD since January 2018. Please keep his family, co-workers, and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
