The Houston Fire Department is hosting the first International Technical Rescue Conference.

Thursday, April 20, 2017 – Teams formed by 7 rescuers will respond to complex rescue scenarios.
- 8:30 a.m. - Vehicle rescue scenario
- 9:30 a.m. - Confined space scenario
- 10:30 a.m. - Rope rescue scenario
- 11:30 a.m. - Skills demonstration

The weeklong conference includes rescue teams from Argentina, Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, Spain and the United States are performing rescue scenarios and workshops at the Houston Fire Department Training Academy as part of this year’s Fires Foundation International Technical Rescue Conference.
