3-Alarm apartment fire in Southeast Houston

One civilian, treated on scene for minor injury.

Damaged estimated at $400,000. Multiple units affected.

The cause was ruled as incendiary.
|
|
Upon arrival firefighters found heavy smoke from the second floor of a 2-story apartment building. The incident was upgraded to a second alarm for additional manpower and difficulty extinguishing the fire. A third alarm was requested due to a May-Day which was cancelled after the firefighter was quickly and safely located.
Code Enforcement was requested due to the building being an unsafe structure. Red Cross also responded to the incident.
