Garage Apartment Fire

7100 block of Vandeman St, 77087
INJURIES:
No reported injuries
PROPERTY SAVED:
$33 thousand in estimated property saved
DAMAGE:
$35 thousand in estimated damage
CAUSE:
The cause is under investigation by HFD Arson investigators
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from the eaves of a one-story garage apartment. They made an offensive attack on the fire and conduced a primary search.  HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Firefighters from Stations 26, 18, 20, 23, 40 and 24 responded to this incident.
