FIREFIGHTERS TO CANVAS NEIGHBORHOOD OF DEADLY FIRE

| Houston Firefighters will walk a neighborhood of a recent tragic fire on Boicewood, with safety literature and talk with residents about the importance of working smoke detectors, home escape plans and fire prevention. |

On Sunday, July 1, 2017, at about 10:55 p.m. the fire department was dispatched to a house fire. Crews received reports of a possible victim trapped inside.
Firefighters found one 80-year-old male inside the home and transported him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. |
