Fire at Toyota Center (indoor arena)

No structural damage. $5 thousand in estimated content damage.

HFD Arson Investigators ruled the cause as undetermined.
|
|
Upon arrival, building personnel directed the fire crews to a large storage area below grade. Firefighters found a fire that had been extinguished by the sprinkler system. Property damage was minimal, but extensive smoke and water removal was required.
HFD Arson investigators and the Fire Marshal Office were contacted to investigate the cause and to assure that the sprinkler system would be brought back on line properly.
