The annual ceremony recognizes not only those members who have passed away in the line of duty, but also every Houston firefighter who is "gone, but not forgotten." The ceremony takes place in the beautiful garden located on Pension Fund property paying tribute to all firefighters. The garden includes pavers, benches, the “Wall of Honor” and a breathtaking statue (“The Rescue").
Family and friends will place roses for those who have died in the Line of Duty as helmets are placed on the memorial wall.
