House Fire in Greater Hobby Area

Firefighters arrived on scene with fire coming from the side of a 2-story house. They began an offensive attack and primary search. The fire was knocked down with no extension to the attic and the power company was on scene to secure the utilities. The resident stated the fire had started from an unattended candle on the second floor. Crews from Stations 23, 26, 70, 36, 61 and 24 responded to this incident.
