Failure of Equipment or Heat Source – Electrical Short

Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from a gable near an HVAC unit of a large one-story church. They quickly knocked down the fire and checked for extension. A primary and secondary search were conducted with no one found. The fire began in the gable where the HVAC duct and electrical were located. The occupants stated they had been having electrical issues since the previous day. Firefighters from Stations 28, 60, and 10 responded to this incident.
