Building Fire in Northwest Houston
WHAT:
Building Fire in NW Houston               
WHEN:
Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 2:10 p.m.
WHERE:
700 block of W Rittenhouse St, Houston Texas 77091
INJURIES:
No injuries reported     
DAMAGE:
Estimated $10,000 in structural damage.
CAUSE:
The cause of fire was undetermined and is currently under investigation
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
HFD units arrived on location with smoke and fire showing from an outside storage building behind a vacant home.  Crews began a defensive attack on the fire.   A primary search was not possible during suppression efforts due to several stored items in the building.  The fire extended to a carport adjacent to the building.  No injuries were reported.  The fire was extinguished and tapped out at 2:28 p.m.  Arson was dispatched to this incident.  19 HFD units responded to this incident.
