CAUSE:
Electrical
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Firefighters arrived on scene with smoking coming from the back of a large one-story strip center and began an offensive attack on the fire. The fire was an exterior electrical fire on a wall of a nail saloon. Firefighters worked to stop the spread of the fire to the neighboring businesses in the building and the fire was declared under control at 3:37 a.m. The fire was contained to a nail saloon attached to the rear of a piano gallery. Representatives from Centerpoint also responded. Firefighters from Stations 3, 6, 8 and 16 responded to this incident.
