Building Fire in Houston / Reveille Area

Crews from District 26 arrived on scene to find heavy smoke and fire coming from the roof of a medium sized warehouse/building. Crews from Engine 40, Engine 18 and Ladder 26 gained access and attacked the fire. Crews from Engine 35 and Engine 26 assisted with providing water supply. Fire was extinguished by use of handlines and assistance from all crews on scene. Hazmat 22 assisted with identifying if hazardous materials were involved as well as with monitoring and sampling air supply. HFD Arson was called to investigate cause and origin of fire. Smoke was noticed and reported by an employee. No injuries reported.
