Building Fire in Central Northwest Area

Building Fire
WHEN:

INJURIES:
No reported injuries
PROPERTY SAVED:
$1,005,000 in estimated property saved
DAMAGE:
$20 thousand in estimated damage
CAUSE:
The cause was ruled as accidental by HFD Arson investigators. 
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Firefighters arrived on scene with smoke coming from a 2-story commercial building and forced entry. A fire was found in a small room and light smoke was throughout the building. Crews extinguished the fire and checked for extension. The fire was contained the the room of origin and firefighters used fans to ventilate the building. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Crews from Stations 13, 2, 4, 5, 38, 50, 62 and 30 responded to this incident.
