|
Firefighters arrived on scene to find light smoke in the pool equipment area of the apartment complex. They checked for fire in the attic area and found none. Crews forced the door open on the pool room and found a pool pump on fire due to an electrical malfunction. The crew of Engine 74 used a portable extinguisher to control the fire and turned the power off to the room, removing the pump.
