Apartment Fire in The Mid West Area

Firefighters arrived on scene with no smoke or fire coming from a 2-story apartment complex. Upon investigation brown smoke started coming from the second floor of an apartment building. A fire was found in the attic and centered near a roof top air-conditioning unit. The crews made an offensive attack and conducted a primary and a secondary search. The fire was controlled and The American Red Cross was contacted to assist the residents. Crews from Stations 2, 28, 68, 3, 51, 60, 10 and 57 responded to this incident.
