A/C unit caught fire in the wiring
|
|
Firefighters arrived on scene and found light smoke coming from an apartment building. A working fire was found the in the attic space and crews worked to extinguish it. They conducted a primary search and ventilated the attic. Crews checked for extension and hot spots with none found. An A/C unit in the attic caught fire in the wiring and set the wood on fire that it was sitting on. Several ceiling joints were burned. Two units apartment units were affected. Firefighters from Stations 78, 83, 57, 75 and 86 responded to this incident.
