Apartment Fire in The Magnolia Park Area

CAUSE:
Failure of equipment or heat source
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Firefighters arrived on scene to find light smoke coming from the vents of the roof and small flames coming from the first floor of a small 2-story apartment. Crews entered the structure and back of the apartment building. Smoke was found inside one unit and crews determined the fire was on a wall running up from the first floor. The fire was extinguished in the walls and the main fire was knocked down on the back porch. Firefighters conducted a primary search of all of the units and conducted smoke removal. Crews from Stations 20, 19, 17, 18, 27, 41, 42, 27, 30, Rescue 42 and Rehab responded to this incident.
