Apartment Fire in The Magnolia Park Area

Firefighters arrived on scene with heavy fire coming from an exterior wall on the second floor of an apartment building. They began an offensive attack and conducted primary and secondary searches. The fire was extinguished and after talking with the resident it appeared the fire had started in a window A/C unit which was plugged into an extension cord. Crews from Stations 20, 24 and 40 responded to this incident.
