Apartment Fire in The Greater Hobby Area
WHAT:
Apartment Fire 
WHEN:
July 4, 2019 at 7:29 p.m.
WHERE:
10910 Gulf Freeway, 77075
INJURIES:
One civilian injured and transported to the hospital
PROPERTY SAVED:
$9,500 in estimated property saved
DAMAGE:
$1,500 in estimated damage
CAUSE:
The cause is under investigation by HFD Arson investigators
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from a first-floor apartment. A conscious resident was found inside and transported to the hospital. There was heavy smoke inside the unit and crews checked for extension into nearby units. No extension was found with the fire contained to the unit of origin. The fire was extinguished and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Crews from Stations 26, 52, 70, 29, 61, 36 and 24 responded to this incident.
