Apartment Fire in The Golfcrest / Bellfort / Reveille Area

Firefighters arrived on scene and found smoke coming from the bottom floor of a two story apartment. They made an offensive attack and conducted a primary search. The fire was quickly contained to the kitchen and crews worked to ventilate the unit. There was no fire extension to the other units, however smoke was found in the nearby units and firefighters ventilated them. One citizen was evaluated for smoke inhalation and treated on scene. Crews from Stations 23, 26, 70, 23, 61, 29 and 24 responded to this incident.
