Firefighters arrived on scene to find a fire in the kitchen of a 2-story apartment unit. They made an offensive attack and conducted a primary search. The fire appeared to have started on the stove top and was contained to the kitchen area. Crews checked for extension and ventilated the unit and a neighboring unit which had light smoke. Firefighters from Stations 23, 70, 71, 72, 93 and 94 responded to this incident.
