Apartment Fire in The Briar Forest Area
WHAT:
Apartment Fire
WHEN:
June 6, 2019 at 8:12 a.m.

INJURIES:
No reported injuries
PROPERTY SAVED:
More than $4 million in property saved
DAMAGE:
$45 thousand in estimated damage
CAUSE:
The cause was ruled accidental by HFD Arson investigators
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Firefighters arrived on scene with heavy smoke coming from an apartment building. They began an offensive attack and conducted a primary search. A cat and a dog were located and crews administered oxygen with a pet mask to the cat. Both pets were okay. The fire was extinguished with the damage isolated to two units. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Firefighters from Stations  2, 78, 83, 75, 76 and 57 responded to this incident.
