Apartment Fire in Spring Branchwest Area

HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as incendiary.

|
Firefighters arrived on scene to find light smoke coming from an apartment unit. The occupants were out of the unit and searches of the apartment and nearby units found no one. The fire was found and extinguished with no extension to other units, although at least one other unit did have some smoke damage. Crews from Stations 78, 5, 49, 50, 77 and 57 responded to this incident. HFD Arson was requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
