Apartment Fire in Spring Branch Central Area

Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from a 2-story apartment building and began to investigate. A fire was found in a wall space and was quickly contained and extinguished. Workers in the apartment had been using heated material to remove linoleum flooring and have left for a break. Residents in the complex saw the smoke and called 9-1-1. Firefighters from HFD Stations 5, 28, 38, 49, 77, and 50 responded to this incident.
