The cause of the fire was deemed to be a Lightning Discharge

Firefighters arrived on location of possible apartment fire. Resident complained of smoke in the bathroom of their apartment. Crews opened the ceiling in the bathroom area and found smoldering structural frame members and insulation. The fire was extinguished and structure was checked for possible extension. The incident was deemed under control and tapped out at 7:59 p.m. No injuries were reported.
