The cause of the fire was deemed unintentional

Details: Firefighters arrived on scene to find fire coming from a structural pillar extending into the attic of the building. Arriving firefighters initiated a fire attack to the affected apartment on the 2nd floor. 8 total apartment units were affected by the fire. The fire was extinguished and the building was checked for possible extension. This fire was deemed under control and tapped out at 7:51 p.m. No injuries were reported. 15 total HFD units responded to this incident.
