The cause of the fire was deemed unintentional

|
Details: Firefighters arrived on scene of a reported apartment fire. After investigating, firefighters concluded that the sprinkler head in the kitchen was activated and the fire was extinguished prior to HFD arrival. Water affected the fire unit on the third floor and the first and second floor units below. Firefighters shut down the sprinkler system and began water removal operations for all three floors. No injuries were reported. 2 HFD units responded to this incident.
