No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED:
$251 thousand in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE:
$4 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE:
Failure of Equipment or Heat Source.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming a first-floor unit of a 2-story apartment building. The resident left the door open and firefighters extinguished the fire inside the unit. Once the fire was controlled, crews conducted overhaul of the unit. Firefighters from Stations 68, 83, 10, 60, 73, 69 and 57 responded to this incident.
