Apartment Fire in Settegast Area of Northeast Houston

Firefighters responded to a report of fire in apartments with possible people trapped. Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy fire in a downstairs apartment and began and attack on the fire. The fire was extinguished within 30 minutes with crews preventing the spread of the fire in the attic. All of the occupants had safely escaped prior to HFD’s arrival and the Red Cross was requested to assist the residents. Firefighters from Stations 43, 45, 34 and 39 responded to this incident.
