The crew of Engine 8 arrived with smoke visible and a fire alarm on the 4th floor of the apartment building. With the assistance of the crew of Tower 6, a small fire was located in the attic space below a patch to the rubber roof. The patch had been done earlier that day. Firefighters pulled the roofing and ceiling and the fire was quickly extinguished.
