Apartment Fire in Mid West Area

HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as incendiary.
|
|
|
Firefighters arrived on scene with no smoke or fire showing, however upon investigation found smoke and fire coming from a second story window on the back parking lot side of an apartment building. They began an offensive attack and conducted a primary search. The fire was extinguished and only smoke was found on the floors above and below the unit of origin. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determined the cause and origin of the fire. Crews from Stations 28, 2, 15, 68, 3, 51, 60, 69, 83, 49, 57 and the Village Fire Department responded to this incident.
