Apartment Fire in Mid West Area

Firefighters arrived on scene and made entry into the unit to find heavy smoke on the first floor. They began an attack on the fire and a search of the 2-story apartment unit. A fire was located in the kitchen in the area above the stove and extinguished. Crews from Stations 83, 2, 10, 28, 60 and 51 responded to this incident.
