Apartment Fire in Mid West Area

Firefighters arrived on-scene to find an extinguished kitchen fire and checked for extension. Two dogs were located with one deceased and the other one treated by HFD crews with a canine mask and cold packs. A resident was transported to the hospital for injuries related to the fire. Firefighters from Stations 28, 83, 10, 51 and 60 responded to this incident.
