Apartment Fire in Mid West Area

Firefighters arrived on scene and found smoke coming a 3-story apartment building with residents attempting to extinguish the fire with a house line. A small fire was found burning inside of an outside wooden beam. Crews forced entry into the nearby apartment and found no fire extension. A primary search was also completed. Firefighters from Stations 28, 83, 2, 51, 60 and 57 responded to this incident.
