Firefighters arrived on scene with light smoke coming from a 2-story apartment building. Crews cut into the roof and located the fire while other crews pulled the ceiling of the apartment unit below. The fire was located near the duck work and was caused by an electrical short causing the wood and insulation to catch fire. Firefighters conducted salvage and overhaul before turning the scene over to maintenance personnel. Crews from Stations 23, 26, 29, 52, 70 and 24 responded to this incident.
