Apartment Fire in Gulfton Area

Upon arrival firefighters found light smoke coming from the second floor of a 2-story apartment building. Upon investigation, a small fire was found in a bedroom. The fire was extinguished and the dry walls and ceiling were pulled to check for extension with none found. Firefighters conducted salvage and overhaul and spoke with the building manager and tenants of the unit and unit below the fire. Crews from Stations 51, 68, 28, 37 and 60 responded to this incident.
