Firefighters arrived on scene with light smoke coming from an apartment. They pulled the ceiling between the kitchen and living room to find a small fire. The fire was extinguished and crews conducted salvage and overhaul. The gas company was also contacted for a smell of gas from a boiler room next to the apartment building. Firefighters from Stations 28, 68, 37, and 51 responded to this incident.
