The cause was ruled as incendiary by HFD Arson Investigators.

|
Firefighters arrived on scene to find light smoke coming from an upstairs vacant unsecured apartment unit. They had to remove a section of an iron fence to access the apartment. The fire was confined to a small bedroom and quickly knocked down. There was no fire extension to either side of the apartment or roof. Firefighters from Stations 52, 61, and 70 responded to this incident.
