A resident had been cooking when the pan flashed over and caused the sprinkler system to go off in the apartment unit. In the process of removing the food a resident suffered some burns to his hand but did not seek treatment. The apartment received heavy water damage from the sprinkler system. Firefighters and apartment maintenance personnel helped to overhaul the unit and clean up. Crews from Stations 75 and 86 responded to the incident.
