Firefighters arrived on scene and found a fire in the kitchen of an apartment unit. A pot of cooking oil was burning on the stove and caught the cabinets above the stove on fire. They extinguished the fire and checked for extension. No fire extension was found crews overhauled the apartment. Crews from Stations 78, 83, 10, 75, 76 and 86 responded to this incident.
