Apartment Fire in Brays Oaks Area

Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke and fire coming from a second story apartment unit and began an attack and primary search. The fire was extinguished and crews checked for extension. A resident was cooking when she the grease flashed and caught fire and spread to areas in the kitchen as she attempted to extinguish. Firefighters from Stations 68, 82, 59, 51, 73 and 10 responded to this incident.
