Apartment Fire in Brays Oaks Area

Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from the second floor of a 2-story apartment building. The fire was found in a kitchen area above the stove top and had spread to the cabinets. The fire was quickly extinguished, and a primary search was completed. The fire had not extended beyond the kitchen and the American Red Cross was notified to assist the family. Crews from Stations 48, 82, 59, 68, 51 and 24 responded to this incident.
