Firefighters arrived on scene with no smoke or fire visible from an apartment building. Upon investigation, they found a small fire between the floors in a crawl space where a heating unit / motor was located. The wiring on the unit was melted and the breaker for the unit was tripped. The firefighters secured the power and extinguished the fire. They found no extension of the fire and the scene was declared under control. Crews from Stations 76 and 83 responded to this incident.
