Apartment Fire in NW Houston
WHAT:
Apartment Fire in Northwest Houston.
WHEN:
Today, June 26, 2017 at 3:55 a.m.
WHERE:
1415 W Gulf Bank Rd. Houston TX 77088
INJURIES:
Two injuries reported. Houston Fire Department transported one person to nearby hospital.
DAMAGE:
Significant fire and smoke damage to the apartment.
CAUSE:
Under Investigation by Houston Arson Bureau.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Houston Fire Department responded to an apartment fire in NW Houston at app 3:55 a.m. Dispatch information stated that their were possibly people trapped. On arrival fire crews encountered heavy fire and smoke coming from a second story apartment. The two occupant apparently escaped through a second story window resulting in significant cuts and abrasions.  One of the occupants,an adult female, was transported  to nearby hospital for minor injuries. Fire was contained to the unit of fire origin and quickly extinguished.
