4th of July Safety Press Conference, Today

The Houston Fire Department and City of Houston EMS Director Dr. David Persse will remind citizens about how to prevent a tragedy during the 4th of July. Demonstrations about the dangers of fireworks will be given.

The Houston Fire Department will remind citizens that it is illegal to discharge fireworks in the City of Houston and parts of the county. Although fireworks and celebrations go together, especially during the holiday season, they can be dangerous, possibly causing serious burn and eye injuries.
