2-Alarm Apartment Fire in the Gulfgate Riverview / Pine Valley Area

The cause was ruled accidental by HFD Arson investigators

Firefighters arrived on scene with smoke coming from the second floor of a 2-story apartment building. They began an offensive attack and conducted a primary search. Crews conducted vertical ventilation directly over the fire and several other areas of the roof. The fire was extinguished and a secondary search was completed. The American Red Cross was notified and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Firefighters from Stations 15, 23, 8, 19, 46, 17, 25, 35, 26 and Rescue 42 responded to this incident.
