Special remarks will be given by Fire Chief Samuel Peña, City of Houston Director and CEO of Solid Waste and Management Harry Hayes and Captain Delance Shaw, President of the Houston Chapter of the International Association of Black Professional Firefighters.
A special presentation will also be made for the Class of 1955, the original trailblazers.
